  Loads of staff not serving/assisting whilst long unattended queue left at door. I approached branch manager Ms Mason as urgently needed to open account which takes a few minutes as already a customer. It was 3pm with 2hrs to close. She was utterly rude. Turned back on me, made snide laughing tutting noise as walked off on me whilst I was still asking her a question and said “well you’ll just have to go elsewhere” as she was “busy” helping a staff member to assist a customer make a small payment and no one could help for the rest of the 2 hours. I asked for her card as branch manager. She gave me a blank instead of her own. Other customer in queue complained to me how awful this branch and particularly the manager is. Walked straight out to another bank and opened account with ease.

  This was my first visit to Tweed branch, the staff were extremely helpful, Melissa answered all my questions and quickly and efficiently attended to my banking needs.

  I dont know the other staff in this branch, as yet, but i do know that we received the best customer service and help in our stressful rush to complete a transaction, that was HQ related more so than the branch, and this was all achieved with the incredible help of the manager Debbie towie!
  Old school help and service, all with a smile, that was amazing! She is a standout, by far, and other customers that have dealt with her will know what i mean. Lack of staff one visit? No probs she's behind the teller counter still smiling, an asset that hopefully st george realises!

  I waited two and a half weeks for a new Visa card, there were no apologies. It is a long time to be without access to your money. I just wish the service at Tweed branch could be improved.

  A simple withdrawal of money, Access to my own funds, from my own account,i was treated like i was trying to steal my own money, by a masculine looking blonde in her thirties with way to much botox !!! who thought her ego trip was more important than any form of customer service.i have had my st george account for over twenty years and was very tempted to end it then and there.
